Power Play Explained

Brawl Stars | Events | Power Play |
Brawl Ball featured on the Power Play

Power Play is a competitive mode that features an exclusive Leaderboard and rewards the player with Power Play Points.

This event is not a specific game mode, it's an additional feature added to a regular event on the rotation.

The last event from the rotation features the "Power Play" event.

The number of Power Play matches you can play on a single day is limited to 3.

Unlocking and Requirements

You can only play with Brawlers that have a Star Power on this event.

For this reason, this event is unlocked only when your first Brawler reaches Power Level 10.

Rewards

The gameplay from the events is similar to all regular events, however, when the match is over, in addition to Tokens, you are also rewarded with Power Play points.

It's not possible to lose Power Play points, but if you lose or tie the match you will gain fewer points.

You can also make extra points with Epic Wins:

  • Gem Grab: Win a match before the 15th Gem spawns
  • Heist: Win a match with 60% or more own Safe health remaining
  • Siege: Win a match with 80% or more own IKE turret health remaining
  • Brawl Ball: Win a match by scoring 2 goals and receive no enemy goals
  • Bounty: Win a match by getting 10+ more stars than the other team.

Matchmaking

Different from the regular matchmaking that is based on the number of trophies you have on the specific Brawler you are using, Power Play matchmaking is based on the Power Play points you currently have.

The higher the number of Points you have, more difficult and harder the events will get.

Leaderboards

With the limitation of 3 matches per day, there is a limited amount of Power Play Points you can accumulate.

Based on this count, you can see a specific leaderboard based on these points. This is where the true pro players really shine.

Season End and Exchanging Rewards

Every season lasts 2 weeks and ends on a Tuesday.

Once the season is over all your Power Play Points will be reset to zero and exchanged to Star Points.
