Attack: Undiluted

Brawl Stars | Brawlers: Rare | Barley |

"Barley lobs a bottle, breaking it on the ground. Enemies take damage from the splash, and more damage over time if they stay in the puddle."

His main attack consists of throwing a bottle of liquid that shatters and deals damage to enemy Brawlers who are standing in the area.

If the enemy Brawler remains in the area, the damage can hit twice, making this the most significant difference to Dynamike, whose damage occurs when the dynamite explodes.

Super: Last Call

Brawl Stars | Brawlers: Rare | Barley |

"Barley hurls a flurry of fiery bottles, covering a huge area in flames. This one's on the house!"

His Super works just like the main attack, but he throws several bottles covering a larger area. If the enemy Brawlers don't leave the area, damage can hit them multiple times.

Herbal Tonic Explained

Brawl Stars | New Gadget Sneak Peek: Barley's Herbal Tonic |

Herbal Tonic can be used 3-times per match. When Barley activates this Gadget, he throws a healing potion to his location and the nearby allies' location.

This potion heals 500 health per second for 5 seconds, with a total of 2.500 health for each teammate that stays inside the potion the whole time.

Once the Brawler gets inside, it takes a second to start healing. If the Brawler leaves the area before completing one second, he will not heal, so if the Brawler remains inside the potion for half a second, he will not get any health.

Brawl Stars | New Gadget Sneak Peek: Barley's Herbal Tonic |

Before activation make sure friendly Brawlers are inside the Gadget's radius so they will get their Herbal Tonic. Stacking potions, in case all brawlers are close together, will not increase the healing as they don't stack.

The range is slightly bigger than Barley's regular attack but shorter than his Super attack.

Brawl Stars | New Gadget Sneak Peek: Barley's Herbal Tonic |

Herbal Tonic is more effective in area control games, such as Hot Zone, Heist, and Gem Grab. This Gadget benefits all friendly Brawlers and helps to control a specific area of the map.

On the other hand, this Gadget is not recommended on solo Showdown, as its value will decrease since it will not be able to support any friendly Brawler, so Sticky Syrup Mixer will be a better option.

Sticky Syrup Mixer

Brawl Stars | Brawlers: Rare | Barley |

"Barley drops a sticky concoction that leaves a puddle, slowing down all enemies that makes contact with it."

Barley's gadget is a sticky syrup mixer that slows down all enemies that touch it.

It also deals 100 damage up to three times and the slow lasts as long as they are inside the syrup for up to 4 seconds.

It has a range of 2 tiles and affects Brawlers behind walls.

Star Powers

Medical Use

"Barley regains 400 health from each main attack."

His Star Power regenerates 400 of his health every time he performs his main attack.

Extra Noxious

"Adds +140 damage per second to Barley's attack."

The best tactic with this Brawler is to avoid direct contact with the enemies. Hiding inside bushes and getting cover behind walls is the most effective, and common, tactic.

Barley is more effective on game modes that have an objective and the enemies must go to a certain area, like Gem Grab and Heist. Since he can set a place on fire, it’s a great tactic to move enemies away from important zones from the map, like the Crystal Mine.
/> Tom 3 years ago
There is a small delay on the attack, so always track the path the enemy is going before throwing the bottles.
/> Tom 3 years ago
It’s also important to analise if there is a escape path for the enemy. Trapping them against walls is a very effective tactic.
/> Tom 3 years ago
If an enemy tracks you down and starts chasing you, go around walls throw the bottles over it.
/> Tom 3 years ago
Always avoid direct contact, specially against Shelly, El Primo and other close combat Brawlers.
